I traded around and got a truck that was salvaged titled. I know you never know what you get but in the past didn’t have many issues until this one. This truck was hit in the rear end and broke. The bed and all that was replaced. I see the truck has new leafs and so on installed. The truck has a 4” rough country lift on it I didn’t install. The truck I had new wheels and rims put on it that match stock sizes except tires are a little wider but not much. I noticed before I installed the new tires the truck had a small rear swerve when I would drive across a painted marker on the hwys like the rear end was sliding or drifting some to the right hand side like a hydroplane feeling. I thought it was just the tires being bad. Anyway replaced tires with new ones and had the truck alignment done and it still does it. I also notice only on the back right rear tire the treads on the outside of the tire is wearing more than the middle or inside edge and I have about 4k on tires. Normally with this same setup I had on another Prerunner the rear tires would always wear flat like normal. Could this be a bent rearend? Any ideas what to do? Thanks guys.

Get rid of the lift. If it still dog tracks, dump the truck onto the next sucker.

I suspect that you finally got bit by the salvage gamble.

If the tires are wearing unevenly in the rear, maybe the axle is bent? Was that replaced along with the bed and other things?

Going to throw this out there since it hasn’t been mentioned yet.

Maybe the axle shifted when the leaf springs were replaced or other rear work was preformed.

Replaced mine one side at a time to prevent any mis alignment.

There is the alignment before and after new tires. Also I am not sure what was replaced.

measure from the front spring bolt to the front of the axle on both sides,,,,,,,,,,,,,,then measure from the frame to the backing plate on both sides,

    make sure all numbers match.

from your discription check inside of left tire

So since the rear is non adjustable it doesn’t show you where it is other than the degrees..I’m not sure what most trucks like yours is…there probably not perfect, but 0.00 would be perfectly straight

You said 4in lift, so I'm figuring you have a block in the leaf pack which is why I said to measure, those center pins are not a machined fit, even more so with a block.
