I believe my oil sensor is bad. It says low oil but it is full. It will be a few days until I can replace it. Anything i should worry about driving it? Truck has 51k on it.

Looks like I have to drop the oil pan to replace it. Any surprises before I pull it off?

Wife's Subaru showed 'Low Windshield Fluid' light. Asked Subaru about it he wanted $160 to diagnose it. I'm like dude it's a bad sensor why would I spend $160 for you to tell me it's a bad sensor. Then he ball-parked $600 to fix it. I'm like dude, why would I pay $600 to fix something that I can figure out by using it and figuring out it needs fluid because nothing comes out.

A month or so later while at an independent shop I mentioned it to a guy, he's like yea let me pull the connection so that light doesn't come on.
Presto, issue fixed. When the fluid is low we'll know it cuz nothing comes out. Duh. Price paid: $0.00 - duh.

By the way he advised that some washer-fluids out there ( ie: big-box-brand ) will fk up those sensors....

In the case of your low oil light no idea how to fix etc - perhaps some fuse is going stupid?
