Leave it to me to have an issue with the most straight forward mod available. I installed the Pop N Lock after work this evening and she does not work. I triple checked all of the connections were snapped in. All blue to blue, green to green. I ran to the passenger side kick panel. I can't help but notice that the harness has too many wires. I don't see it pictured this way in the instructions or in install videos.

It was getting late (for me) and I was irritated and filthy because I sprayed everything in Surface Shield before the winter storm last week. Tomorrow I plan to pick up a multimeter to see if there's power at each connection, and lastly try it with the drivers side kick panel plug. But these extra wires were sticking in my craw.

Anybody else had this harness? Any other ideas why this wouldn't be working?

I installed to the driver side kick panel. No idea if there is a difference between passenger vs driver.

I think (can't recall 100%) I had the other leads in my harness but just didn't use them. Just plugged in blue and green and all works well.

From what I read on here, you could go to either. Maybe it depends on the year. The R4T version of this lock install has them plugging into the passenger side as well. I didn't want to try to get around the fuel tank but I think (hope) there might be enough extra length to go across and not totally rerun it. If I have to.

I don't know about 3rd gen tacomas but for my dads 2017 tundra and my 2010 tacoma their instructions were wrong and lead you to the incorrect side. I can't recall which side it ended up on though.

Screenshot_20221230_202308_Chrome.jpg look for this thread. I also read that it is blue to red on passenger side. Hope this helps you.

Ultimately it did help, thank you. Nowhere did I find my exact combo talked about but after some trial and error it ended up being:
Blue into Gray which comes out green on the stock harness and Green into Purple which comes out red on the stock wiring. Makes total sense!
