Plenty of videos online that, IMHO show you what your paying for when you buy MaxTrax.

And yes I own 2 sets. :anonymous:

I’ve used TRED knock offs plenty of times and had no problems. I also broke a few here and there and TRED shipped a new pair as a warranty replacement every time with no questions. I’d only go with Maxtrax if you expect to be using them a lot. If not half the price will get you unstuck once a year just as well.

Just don’t lend a maxtrax to a stuck friend who you told not to bring a Lexus sedan to the desert who then proceeds to step on the throttle when you told them not to. Ask me how I know. :angrygirl:

They are better than the cheap ones, but not worth the money.

All I'll say is maxtrax saved my bacon numerous times over a few years and they still look like new. Treds on the other hand snapped the first time I used them in mud as a precaution. I wasn't even stuck, just driving over them blew them up.

Don't forget to look at USA made ActionTrax, as they are slightly less expensive.

They have a few differences than MaxTrax that are useful. Haven't heard or seen anyone actually break one of these.
