    2023 Tacoma TRD Off Road
    Long time pre Taco owner.

I had a 1989 4 cylinder single cab Toyota pickup m/t. It was written off at a junction by some kids driving daddies SUV who didn't look as they pulled out. In the snow going downhill I t-boned them and most likely wrote the vehicle off as I hit the main middle pillar with force.

Insurance under valued the truck and over estimated the repairs, even though it was all cosmetic damage. I bought it off the insurance and sold it and the truck went down to Mexico on a ranch.

Then a 1991 V6 single cab pickup m/t. It never dropped oil, didn't burn any either and to be honest was the best and most fun vehicle I've owned. I was very sad to sell it.

I had to sell as I was emigrating away from the country - sold with 295k miles and was trucked to Guatemala on a semi to live down there.

Now I'm back and after looking at some very poor series 1 and 2 examples, decided to order a 2023 TRD Off Road as my retirement present. Should be here by end of January.

I already have a list of improvements to add after skimming these forums and a few YT channels.

Could have done with it this week in CO with the snow we've just had dumped.
