It does require modification. It's almost a bolt on.

I'm hearing people are liking CRV over RAV4.

Just upgraded to the KDmax 9 tune.
I had OV2 tune for just over 2 years and it was miles better than stock. But still had some occasional engine surging and the throttle could have been a little better.
In the 20 miles I have driven I feel the KDmax was worth the upgrade over OV, the throttle response is better and the low end power is better.
Though if you were coming from a stock tune it would blow your mind how much better the truck preforms.

Just a few things. Hard bed cover, a few decals, TRD Pro grille with raptor lights. Little stuff, Ejection Seats
Fully installed in my Taco. When the shit goes sideways, I'm pulling to see what happens next.

I added a sleeping platform to my DIY Bed slide. I also found plano 20221231_134047.jpg boxes (two in the picture at Bass Pro) in green and black to match the truck. I will be able to get six of them in. Attachment points for them are next as they have wheels

Some are, and some are preferring the RAV4. One drives like a Honda and one drives like a Toyota. We prefer the Toyota feel and gearing. Glad we have competition to keep the companies improving.

re-reflow soldered my one license plate light that's been giving me problems since the day i built it. i still suspect thermal cycling is causing fracturing in the copper, but this should do for now...

got the truck clayed/waxed, as the weathers not cooperating currently for a full paint correction. it'll at least make the snow easier to clear off
    [IMG]

and, filed under "stupid mods that are totally worth it", some door latch plates to cover the bolts. my truck's like a lexus now!

yep, was trying to keep it simple. paint maintenance is another very large rabbit hole!

though TBF, the swirls introduced aren't extremely noticeable as long as the paint was previously corrected recently. i did a full detail with intensive paint correction about 1.5 years ago, so didn't really see a point to the added step right now, especially in the 40 degree weather.

i thought about it, but i rarely open the door that far anyways.

if i barely notice the speaker cables running next to the oem wire loom on my other car, i'm not going to appreciate those!
