I'm evaluating which way to go with my Lift:

33 or 35s (Tires)
16, 17, or 18s (Wheels)

3" or 6" Lift

Suspension Kits: Westcott, Ready Lift, Toytec, Dobinsons, Bilstein...just running off names of vendor products...

 

Florida Taco. Today is 6 yrs since I drove off the lot.

 

In my opinion black IS the best looking color on third a gen but I just don't have the time or energy anymore to keep it nice (I'm slightly OCD). I had two black vehicles and promised myself never again .
With that said, I see some beautiful trucks in this thread!

 

Just over 1 year since I brought this home. I do like the black color - for at least a few hours after it’s been washed.

I was lin Dewey today picking up some beers and saw this guy...had to do a side-by-side before I went in to get beer for New Year!

Hi @Kefka, I'm riding on 285/70 x 17s on Method 305 wheels.

I just found out that this truck is equipped with StopTech 6 piston caliper front brakes! What a pleasant surprise!

I just had the front windows tinted today, and plan to do the smoked 3rd tail light soon. I'll send some updated pics once I finish that.

 

My understanding is that you kinda need to get the transmission regeared if you move up to 35" wheels....?

Just not enough power to move those massive wheels effectively.

 

Finally my turn to post on this thread. Picked her up yesterday.

 

I'm advised...if I were to do intense 4-wheelin', then a regear may be in order.

But if you stay on the street mostly...no regear is necessary. (It was only advised...not scripture)

I'm leaning towards 275s...and possibly 285s with no cutting with my TRD Lift. I want some pokey to go with my Bushwacker Fendys.

Told myself I wouldn’t crack. Promised myself I’d drive my 2nd Gen but you guys are making this difficult! I will NOT break but damn I can see these wheels attached to a 3rd Gen sitting in my driveway

It sure does. I'm in month 10 now of waiting for one. Not many pics of black Pros online to look at and even fewer without a roof rack or running boards.

 

Haha yep we've done the same internet searching. I found one youtube video of a walk around with a '23 Black Pro and even then the truck was filthy. Everything else is Solar Octane.
