TRD Sport 5/14/2021 - Loving my 3rd Gen Tacoma!

OMG!!!

I just bought Depeche Mode tickets for Friday April 7, 2023 in Toronto, Canada!

After pleading my case to my wife and explaining this will be a weekend together in Toronto, she finally agreed!

Now, to expedite my passport processing...of course, my wife said...they're probably backed up so you'll have to hurry.

Had BushWacker Fender Flares installed by SoundFX in Bridgeville, DE today! I was meaning to do it myself but I wanted some pros to install instead.

I'm very excited for the future of my Sport.

For now, I will be riding on the OEM wheels/tires until the time comes for upgrade. This will give me some time to budget/save for lift package.

Nothing is set in stone but it's great to be looking forward to something....like the Depeche Mode concert in Toronto my wife are going to in April.

I had my 20K ToyotaService (4th) today--truck had 16,108 at time of service.

Oil change included filter change
Cabin Filter was also changed out
Rotated tires
Front brakes are at 9 and rears are at 4

Nothing mentioned about the OTT Tune by either party.

Scheduled my final ToyotaCare Service for May 2, 2023. Almost a couple weeks before my anniversary date of May 14, 2021.

Man! These two years have gone by so fast!

 

Been using my remote start since the weather is quite cold in the mornings.

This morning's temp:

24F
Feels like 18F

I set up the defrost with 2 bars and lower my radio before shutting off...don't want it blaring at 5am.

Colder weather (and possibly snow) is coming through beginning Thursday and into Friday. It's supposed to be super cold!

I spent my New Year's Eve helping my son-in-law with picking-up/moving furniture from Ocean City, MD to Wilmington, DE.

Always good to have a sleeper/sofa while transitioning to new apartment. Overall, did 250+ miles today and I loved it!

Also, learned some things watching Chloe...one being: activate the 4X4 for at least 10 miles...I activated/deactivated on straight-away 4 miles.

I already knew about the DRCC range adjustment on steering wheel as well as the LDA.

Engaged the ECT while in 4WD and also switched to S-Drive--had it all going on during the 4 mile straight-away.

Other info:

Deactivating the FOB.
Unlock gearshift from noticeable tab at the top of the center console.
100W & 400W Outlet usage.
