2.5" lift, all new chinese light plastics, led lights here and there... want to make a daily "overlander" modeled after "overland under budget"..
My exact next step, but im too fat right now...too much pie and nog. If i dont stay horizontal for the next hr bad things will happen and its cold outside. Lol. I think i may have to settle for the leds i had in it..they were fine, im just picky. I did learn 2 things tho..i need to read more before i post and i can dim the red led by rolling it forward a bit.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
You are aware led bulbs have polarity the current can only flow in one direction.

Being that is what Diodes do allow current to only flow in one direction.

If you really need a LED dome Light go with a complete clear LED light not just the bulb.

    Good Hunting.

I'm not I'm following. The bulbs work but require key in the ignition. And if the key is not in the ignition, my map lights also don't work.

I must have missed that post then. I thought they did not work at all.

Does your truck have an alarm?

Just having the key in the ignition and not turned to accessories or run??

    That would be interesting .

Maybe At some point some one changed the wiring and has the interior lights powered by switched power.

You need to figure out just what was done. Who knows perhaps they had problems with leaving the lights on and draining the battery.

    Best of luck!

Like mentioned in another thread it may be necessary to solder a doodad(forgive me i forget the correct word) to the led. I hope somebody that knows will be along soon to clear things up for me.

Funny I have the same concern. I made a post in “lighting forum “ with no reply. I was looking at the wire diagram I have the green wire #11 and green / white wire #4 both have ground when the door is open. (Door pin switches are good ) but, don’t see the black and black/ white wire #9 and #10 . Still don’t think the module is sending a signal ground when door is open. Will try using regular bulbs is circuit first. 6227E26B-BCAC-4699-9454-A54FCAF5FF47.jpgC151532C-3ED2-4126-92DC-55D441FDF168.jpg

What is the chances the body module went bad? Common failure? Or is a way to reset the module .
