Picked my truck up in Denver and drove it straight back to Memphis the day I signed papers. Change the oil ever 5k miles, no problems.

Stop and get a tune on the way then thank me later. Road trips are great, especially in a new ride. Great time to get to know your truck. Enjoy the trip, soak in the view’s. Someday you might not be able to do this again.

I recently contacted Toyota about out this.

I thought about how I was going to vary the engine speed for the long trip home. It ended up being little worry. Toyota designed the transmission to change gears almost constantly making it nearly impossible to hold the engine at a specific speed for a long time. Genius.

I don’t know why everyone is saying take other roads instead of the interstate. You can vary speed on the freeway with zero issue unless you are in stop and go traffic which I doubt you’ll see a whole lot of going from CO to PA

The last two motos I bought I broke them in on the freeway on the 100 mile ride home. No issues what so ever. Other than the current one has enough power to get me over the speed limit a little too quickly.
