Hi everyone, happy holidays and new year, hoping someone can help solve a problem with a 2015.

climate controls are not cooperating. They have been working intermittently. They will be working, then while I’m driving, shut off randomly. Will also shut off randomly if I select a different fan level.

currently they’re not working at all. Makes it pretty difficult to pass over mountains with no heat and a fogged windshield.

seems like maybe an electrical short given the on/off nature of the problem? Tried popping the bezel off and reconnecting/blowing everything out. Also tried changing to different settings: ac/no ac, circulate, hot cold - nothing. Worked for a second after blowing out and reconnecting now nothing again.

    thanks for any pointers.

See if the blower works on high as that bypasses the resistor. The connector also is prone to burn/short or the blower motor itself next. Pass side foot well you will see the wires/connector hanging down out under dash.
Many posts on that so "blower motor" and "resistor " if you want to read more. Also a fuse but would blow for the other reasons.

Doesn’t work on high either - none of the levels are working.

when it was freaking out the other day it sounded like maybe the motor. Where abouts is that? I did smack the dash - purely out of experiment and not anger - but no luck.

I’ll check under the glovey for any questionable wires. Where’s the motor and connection? Easy to see from cab?

    thanks fellas

    It’s not a short.
It sounds like an “open” in the connection.
Follow the guide in the link Dm93 posted above.
