Truck? It’s more like a boat. The turning radius on those 3500’s is roughly the size of New Jersey.

 

There 100% legal here thanks to the 25-year loophole; I would put a modern engine it, as well as a stereo system, but I would otherwise leave it stock. It's not like I'd be using it as a daily driver. I found some interior pics I like. Whoever owns this one installed the same Sony CD player that my dad had in his 1996 Nissan Pathfinder from 2003 to 2005...

By definition a loophole is “an ambiguity or inadequacy in the law or a set of rules.”

The 25 year rule doesn’t really fit that. Law states a “non US spec” vehicle over 25 years old can be imported to the US. Or at least that’s how I understand it.

It is possible to get a CCP in CA. You’d have to reside in certain counties, but it is possible. And it is typically valid in the whole state.

But that doesn’t help with the restrictions on certain firearms.
