HP is top end. Torque is 0-60 time. 100 mph top end is plenty for me. Getting there as fast as you can is the real fun.

HP is how fast you hit the wall, Torque is how far you push it.

Morning all - we recently moved to the Madison area from the PNW. Since moving I have been experiencing some suspension performance issues and was curious to check in to see if others have issues with the highways around Madison.

On certain highway road surfaces I am getting a tremendous amount of bouncing when traveling between 60-70mph. This happens on sections of 94 and 90 around Madison, and 151 from Madison to Sun Prairie. It usually will flatten out a bit over 70mph, and is only subtle between 50-60mph. It will stop immediately when the road surface changes, so I seems to be tied to the style of paving that is being done on the highways here.

I have only ever experienced this issue on a highway in Wyoming, and nearly forgot about it until moving here.

Was going to make a post in the broader Gen 3 forum, but figured since we haven't experienced this issue until the highways here in WI, I would start here first to see if anyone else has had this issue? And/or any thoughts on suspension troubleshooting/changes?

Also - any recommendations for suspension shops in Madison or Milwaukee area?

    Current Set up:
    - 21' Tacoma Off Road w/ Alucab Canopy Camper
    - OME Nitrochargers with 888's
    - OME HD Leaf Springs

    Welcome to Wisconsin :hattip:

I have experienced the same thing on our highways. It just happens on certain sections of road.
We do have members in the Madison and Milwaukee areas that can help out with shops to go to.
We have a Wisconsin events thread, check it out.

Welcome! Also a transplant from PNW (Olympia). Unfortunately, can't help with road conditions in Madison as I live at the far other end of the state In Ashland. Somebody will know and help.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
It's called Vinton Construction. They lay the sh&ttiest concrete you've ever seen. Wavy, terrible cracking, you name it. Unfortunately they weren't put out of business 30-odd years ago when they were busted for bid rigging on gov't projects. 151 was all them and it shows.
