'98 3.4L MT, Underhood Fuse Panel Cut-outs?

    Was planning to do alternator upgrade from:

    Upgrading to the Suzuki alternator:

    Was also going to do some of the "Big 7" cable update, at least to the fuse block. I discovered tape-covered holes along both sides of the block:

    This doesn't seem OEM. Did one of the POs do a hack job? Ugh. I cut some small rubber strips, glued and taped them in - for now. Also, trying to find a part number for the box, but so far, no luck.

    While there, I did wire in the winch kill switch, so I have a working winch now, at least. :)

    1 of pervious owner likely cut the protective cover ends off the lower fuse cover off to make it easier to change the high current fuses without unmounting the fuse box, flipping it over and removing the lower cover.

    Discovered this recently myself when I did my big 7 upgrade.
