I'm sure this info is around somewhere but sometimes searching just doesn't work. I blame myself of course.

I want to do a full rebuild on the rear brakes - drums, guts, and all. Can someone help me with a full list of parts?

2009 AC TRDOR, though I think they are the same for all 2nd gens.

    Thanks!

    I don’t know the part #s
    But I know the parts.

    Drum
    Shoes
    Spring kit
Drum gasket (Most never replace / reuse it)

And wheel cylinders if you want to rebuild the system. (I don’t replace thes unless they are leaking)

You have to buy all the springs and washers separately from Toyota.

Do yourself a favor and just buy a hardware kit from Napa.

I recommend OEM for shoes and drums. Just not the hardware.

Lastly, if you're looking for perfection, check your ebrake housing to the back of the drum and decide if you want to go through replacing it if its cracked.

I buy aftermarket spring kits for that reason.
Toyota wants a small fortune if you buy them all separately.

    I went with the Wagner.

    What hasn't been modified?
There’s a small bit of info out there if you want to upgrade the wheel cylinders to larger bore.aka increases pressure on the shoes

Def get the spring kit aftermarket. Get shoes OEM if you really think it's worth it.
