not sure why you would want to do this. the booster makes the rear brakes work better too, why artificially prevent them from doing more? Are you concerned they will lock up to easily? If they lock up too easily on you now, why are you doing a brake upgrade, I would assume your truck is very light, and/or you have poor or worn components on the front that could be improved.

I didn't install a proportioning valve on purpose, in fact I'm working on rear drum brake upgrades with larger wheel cylinders to further increase rear brake performance to match the front performance. however I carry a VERY heavy load of camping/expedition gear all the time... the rear axle weight is staggering even when the truck is unloaded... so this upgrade to the rear won't be good for folks without lots of constant weight..

Do you have a thread started that I can stalk for the rear drum upgrade? Very happy with my 4runner upgrade, but I'd be interested to see that.

So did you end up making your own m12 lines? I'm in the same situation right now where I can't find any pre-made m12 lines

Yes, there was nothing available pre-made. Rented a flare tool from advance auto and bought all the parts from fedhillusa. It takes some patience. I re-did every flare at least twice before I felt happy that I got it right.

    What hasn't been modified?
Is there any interest in having a group buy for a stainless steel braided hose that adapts the m12 master to our m10 lines?

I would be interested too. I'm about to bend lines for this project.

I had my SS brake lines made by a local supplier and I'm positive they could make more of them. I thought I put that in the thread but maybe not.

Do you have a photo of what you're talking about? Is this flexible s/s braided line or is it a hard pre-bent "U-shaped" line? Thanks
