    Hey guys,

Just wrapping up a retrofit build here and wondering if anyone had an ideas here to help me out. These halos have 3 wires:
    Orange: Amber LED
    White: White LED
    Black: Ground

They are designed to have the white wire connected to a constant 12V source, orange wire to your signal wire that pulses between 0 and 12V, and black to ground. This achieves a white LED that is always on, then switches to amber for the signals.

I'd prefer to have them amber all the time, with an amber signal light. However, I don't think it's possible on my truck without some modification. My signal light has 3 wires. 1 is constant 12V for DTRL, the signal wire sits at 0V until the signal is activated, then it pulses between 12V and 0V, and a ground wire.

If I hook my orange wire up to the signal wire, I do get an amber signal, but there is no light on otherwise. This is because this wire has 0V until the signal turns on. If I hook it up to the constant 12V, then obviously it's on all the time, but no signal function.

It seems to me I need a wire that has a steady 12V and then pulses between 0 and 12V with the signal. My truck is a 2015.

I know I could do this using a relay, but it's a little bit more work. Is that my only option?

So ot turns out, I like them better white than amber. But now there's a new problem. The signals are a little bit funny how they are wired. Here's what's happening:

    Ignition On - Engine Off
Headlight switch position 0 (off): No light on halo
Headlight switch position 1 (marker lights): Halo is white, switches to amber on turn signals
Headlight switch position 2 (headlights): Halo is white, switches to amber for turn signal

This is exactly how I want it to operate. However, when the engine is switched on, my signal wire jumps up to 12V with the headlight switch in position 0 (off), or position 1 (marker lights).

    Engine On
Headlight switch position off: Halo is amber
Headlight switch position 1 (marker lights): Halo is amber, stays amber on turn signals
Headlight switch position 2 (headlights): Halo is white, switches to amber for turn signal

I'd like to use the lights as switcbacks but I don't want them to be amber all of the time when I have my headlights switched off. I emailed the company who makes them and a couple others. If anyone has any solution ideas please let me know.
