About 34 years for me, though I can’t really say I use Autocad these days except to look at old prints. We’ve stuck with acad 2004 for that purpose and use Solidworks for “real” work.

went to a customers house today for a bath remodel. full gut down the the studs, the contractor had someone strip the walls and put up plastic 2 days ago. plumber did some work yesterday, we were the only ones scheduled for today, got there at noon.

customer keeps coughing, reassures us it's not covid, and says "it's all the dust from this construction"

funny thing, as soon as he got on a work call, he never coughed once. but the second we started making lots of noise, even just bringing tools in/out, not even tearing into things, he almost coughs up a lung...

the mind is a powerful thing.

I had the .357 back in the mid/late 80s. Impressive gun, very Dirty Harry… sold it for profit. Needed something more practical. Went Colt .45 and S&W .357 for a long while. Colt went for profit too.

I shot a desert eagle .50 cal once as well, a guy in the F.D. had one. This was back in the early 2000's and he said it cost $2 a round

It was not fun to shoot, too big for a pistol.

Saw these sitting last night and took this picture, my wife had our sons first pair of work boots bronzed and gave them to me for my first Father’s Day.

It's not the whole gun that's too big, just that terrible huge grip and shitty trigger make it suck. its actually not that bad on recoil.
