    Just purchased these @CaliRaisedLed
“Cali Raised LED 3x2 in. 18W Amber LED Fog Lights w/ Mounting Brackets - Spot Beam.”

was wondering if they are SAE compliant/street legal? Stock headlights have poor output in my opinion, just looking for something to give me a better night drive

They are supposed to launch an SAE fog pod soon, but I don’t think it will be amber.
Spot beam is not a SAE street legal pattern. Amber is also not going to be very helpful compared to white if looking to up your headlight lighting intensity. But fogs are not a good way to do that anyway, check out the headlight thread for how to get more out of your headlights.

I am wanting to order the amber fog lights for my 2008 tacoma. I do already have the oem dogs with the switch. I don't see the plugs on your site to make it just plug and play. Can I have assistance on my order though you?

When you make it a combo and add on your lights, it will come automatically with the oem adaptors.

I ordered the CaliRaisedLED Amber fog lights and decided to change it to Amber ditch lights instead. CaliRaised was kind enough to switch my order without charging me a restocking/extra fee. That’s what I called an awesome customer service!

For clarification as covered many times CaliRaised does not sell and has never sold fog lights. They sell low performing spot lights for the fog position which do not work for fog and are terrible to run as fog lights, while also being illegal for street use. Unlike manufactures that make far higher performing lights with real fog patterns that are actually useful in fog.

Replacement lights for the fog location. Not fog lights.

A fog is a wide flat beam with cut offs to illuminate the width and edges of the roadway. This is so you can find the shoulder in poor weather at slow speeds while not blinding other drivers and not causing the light to reflect back at the driver, often referred to as cutting under the fog. The spot patter does not illuminate the edges or width of the road way, it will not help you find the road in fog, it does not have cut offs so it will blind other drivers and will cause reflective backscatter at you the driver. Aka, they are not fogs.

I see your point. But CaliRaised sells a fog lights and a ditch lights.
I opt on the ditch light cause I will be placing them on the hood.
The 2nd pics attached, could that be a ditch light installed on the original fog lights?
I’m just trying to understand cause I am new to this expensive hobby beside my cycling lol
But I am all ear and open for so many suggestions for my future mods!

The 2nd pic is the lights they sell for the fog location, not their ditch lights.

Lots of info in the lighting thread I linked earlier or the aux driving beam thread.
