I recently noticed that my OEM front camera under my Tacoma Emblem on my grille ate a road rock. In an effort to circumvent paying for an OEM part, I decided to look into an Anytime Front and Rear Camera Mod.

When I got the camera, which is evidently matched to my truck generation, I checked out where the new camera would be installed and It doesn't look like it will replace the old camera based on the screw attached to the new camera. The first picture shows the existing camera bracket placement.

So to my question: would it be easier to just reach out to toyota and get the OEM part, or can this camera system be installed in the same location as the old camera?IMG_5178.jpg IMG_5176.jpg

Check out tacogarage.com . They make a mount that uses factory screw locations and will be in the same spot.
