I wanted to share a little bit about my build. I have had this tacoma trd pro, short bed since 2018. have kept it stock. Changed some things here and there at low cost. Replaced the front grill with a mesh grill I bought off of amazing for about $16 which has worked great. Removed emblems and TRD sticker. Really dig the look of the slickness with all of them gone.

I did have an A.R.E MX camper shell for the longest and camped in it many nights. I have ran stock for a while and it has treated me well here in the mountains and beaches of California, Oregon etc and I'm slowly now building my truck.

Never done such a large project like. I wanted more space in the back so I did lots of research and built myself a flatbed. slightly larger and I think about the same weight plus or minus. I do want to weight it one day. Any way here is my build so far. Open to any questions about the build.

Also, the wheel well I made fast because we were moving but i do eventually want to change that up a bit.

I'm only asking to see if people would be willing to buy. I've been wondering if i could do this for some extra cash. Had a baby and been thinking about to make some extra money. (also, not selling!!)

It appears you are quite handy with metal working and welding. I haul bikes and skis with my truck so I have no need for such a creation, but I think it's really cool what you've created. I've only done basic metalworking and welding (and a long time ago) so I admire the skills you have.

I read a lot and watched a lot of youtube videos! taken it out to the mountains a few times already and road the truck hard and so far so good! I do plan on making this thing super versatile. for everyday use with my bikes. Snowboard and all. I have some plans but it's going to take some creative thinking. I've done some free camping (no tent) in the summer/fall with it and it was great to have all that room to sleep cook etc. Plans are to be able to do all that with out storing stuff in the car.
