I am looking to get a slimline bumper and winch.
Right now I am torn between the
    Southern Style Off-Road
    and
    4wheelparts.com

Then I am looking at the Harbor Freight Apex 12,000 lbs Winch.

The bumpers are close enough in price but with the shipping from Southern Style adding almost $300 to the overall cost. 4wheelparts offers free shipping.

The 4wheelparts is rated for a 12,000lbs winch and Southern is 10,000lbs. My truck is a Mall Crawler and 99% for looks but I am a mild prepper so I like Okay stuff. I dont think this is going to be a deal breaker or maker either way.

I know the Southern works with the TRD skid plate, cant seem to find a definitive answer on the 4wheelsparts one.

I think Southern offers a free 30in light bar with their bumper so that might make the $300 in shipping easier to stomach. 4wheelparts has 2x2 holes for lights so I could easliy fill that in with Amazon lights until I can upgrade.

    Let me know your thought!

I too am interested in the Southern Style Slimline bumper. The top photo helped to clarify some questions. I am still curious the difference in the OEM+(Winch Line Opening) vs the Universal Winch Line Opening options. I like the look without the bull bar and will probably go the 20" lightbar cutout.

I hope you know that 4WP is having some issues with shipping stuff right now. Because of them getting bought out, they’ve been in shambles. Spoke to a dude last week that has been waiting for his 4WP rear bumper a couple of months and then made some excuses to him when they lost his bumper.
