What are you guys using to mount your phone? Looking to get something that works well for the first gen layout.

Custom sliders (1.75" HREW tube w/ 3/16" base plates). Custom front bumper and high clearance rear bumper (1/4" steel plate, 1.75" tube.) Tekonsha P3 brake controller, remote start, any-time-backup camera w/ front facing camera, Leer 100R shell (w/e-track single slot tie-down mounts for removable Yakima EasyTop.) Cat shields by CaliRaised. Husky liners, window tint, heated seat (passenger only.) Relentless bed rail brackets with QuickFists (shovel/axe/fire extinguisher.) Hondo Garage Un-holey vent mount. Anytime rear with front facing camera. Billet front seat risers. Viair 88p. 265/75r16 Goodyear Ultra-terrain tires.
Agree with critter. RAM mounts are the deal.. I'm 5 years in using the same RAM mount almost every time I get in the truck (which is my daily.)

I'm not a 1st gen but the mounting selection is huge. I'll stay tuned into your thread to [hopefully] see details of how some people are mounting their devices in the cherished 1st gen trucks.

    I have the panavise one:

    One of these:

with one of these glued to it:

I have a RAM X-grip as well but it hits the buttons on my phone unless i place it just so. I use it if I'm bouncing around and don't expect to be taking the phone in and out of the truck alot.

Also have one on the A pillar, but its a really inconvenient place for a right hander to use a phone. Its where the head for my ham radio lives now.

    Looks like:

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
I have the phone on my Tool bag in a holster mount.

While working we were not allowed to use the phone driving .

Someone spots you on the phone if you were lucky to get 1 warning they could just give you the boot.
