We're expecting a full review by tonight.

Last Summer I picked up this Ruger at Tractor Supply:

The included scope is pretty crummy, but luckily it has a picatinny rail and I have a spare AR-15 LPVO.
It's particular about which brand of pellets you use.
Some fairly accurate, others not very.

I got the air rifle because I had just missed a groundhog in the back yard.
There's no easy way to put a scope on my Marlin 39A and these old eyes are getting a little weak for the aperture sight.

Mrs Gritto just had to talk about that lucky groundhog on her neighborhood Fakebook page.
I've killed a bunch of groundhogs with that long barrelled .22.
One hollow point mini-mag, a subdued crack and done.
Anybody who hears it is like huh? Oh well.
Now everybody is gonna know it's me when they hear gunfire :annoyed:
... and the neighbors are too close for that to be strictly legal

The very next day, I caught the bastard in my live trap.

I had baited the trap with peanut butter smeared carrots.
Confirmed: the Ruger Air Hawk Elite II pellet gun will kill a groundhog very dead.

Not very sporting to plink him in the trap (I hear you saying)... nope :burp:
