My Duramax had a leveling kit (torsion keys) on it when I bought it, I would like to return it to stock. It rides rougher than it should with it and is a tiny bit higher than I would like. Almost negative rake and then I hook the gooseneck up, looks like a squater(ish).

Haven’t made these in a while. Luckily found the fixture. 4 left, 4 right.

I got to get this off my chest. I've been carrying it for too long.

Anyone ever gone out of town and ask you to feed their pet?

My friend ask me to feed his dog as they were going to the beach. I said sure, no problem.

The day before they came back from their week long beach get away, I remembered I was supposed to feed the dog for the week

I rushed over and fed it and watered it, it was fine and excited to see a human. It didn't know I forgot it, it thought I was there to rescue it, or something.

I'm sure the dog is long gone. This was about 1986-1987 when this happened but I'm not carrying it anymore. It's off my chest :bananadead:

Even if it wasn’t a suck project it’s Miami so still sucky. But Key West is only about 3 hours from there!

That 100 miles drive at 45 mph is awesome! Even though you are driving slow, the 3 hrs goes by so fast. There's just too much to look at!

Humorous? Yes! But except for the last part about 86-87, I have fed my neighbors cats way too much. Of course now I do not live next to her any longer but I am certain to have nightmares tonight. Thanks! :goingcrazy::pout:

My fun project for today is trying to get a stem leak stopped on the hot water to the washing machine. We never use hot water to wash but my wife decided to use it today. She had to turn on the hot water valve and of course it leaks from the stem because it’s been off for years. I tried tightening the cap, no luck. Went to the hardware store and got some packing rope. Added a wrap and it still leaks, added another wrap and I still have a slow leak :frusty:

Lunch break and I’ll try a third wrap, hope I can get the stem cap to thread on with that much packing rope.

If the packing rope don't work take it all out and use waxed dental floss. It may seal it.

I felt horrible about it back then and not sure why I thought about it today. I never did tell him.

Patrick, if you're reading this....I'm sorry man.

Speaking of eggs and feeding neighbors pets...
We've got some neighbors my wifes family grew up in church with...nice enough people but no shame will ask you for favors left and right unless you put them in their place.
We move in in May, in June they are going on vacation for a month and leaving behind their chickens. They asked could I watch them and keep the eggs in thanks for the effort. I said no, I'd feel really bad if anything happened to them and besides, I just really didnt want to open up the favor train. There is family history there to know how they expect things to roll...I knew it was a daily hassle for at least a month. They ending up paying a neighbor kid to fool with them, ok. Good, whatever.

Next summer rolls around and Ive got new next door neighbors who are (too) nice and the chicken family says hey will you watch our chickens while we go on vacation- yeh ok no problem. They never mention they would be gone 6 weeks. Week 2 the wife asks us when we thought they would be back. I laugh and say you've been had! Well, a chicken had died on their watch, they felt bad. My reluctance to help paid off.

We went to the beach for a couple days a few years ago, the lady that was working the store called and said one of our goats had died. Only thing I could do was call my dad and have him come get it. Never did ask what he did with it, it was July 4th, a drought, and he has a bad back :anonymous:

Prolly milked it, hooked it up to the back of the truck and drug it on the road until it was dust. I can't really think of anything else logical that he would've done with it.

RE Pole: Dippy eggs are where it's at! Or, over easy like you people call them that aren't from my state

I will crack an egg in my noddles about 2 minutes from being done. Still leaves that runny yolk which is perfect for that kind of soup!

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
I would say all of the above but in the trash.

In my Power lifting days lots of Raw eggs were mixed in the blender. 6 in the morning 6 at night.

I tend to enjoy my eggs runny rather then dry.:thumbsup::thumbsup::amen:
