Had a very short window in the rain and wind. Went up and set up my table, stand, target, and spotting scope (Celestron 70mm telescope). Fired one shot expecting it to be way off. Looked in the spotting scope and thought I saw a hole below the target in the cardboard and thought "wtf". So, I walked out to check. Nope, not below the target.....
Not a bad first shot using an Eotech 512 at 100 meters (verified using Nikon Prostaff 1000i).
After walking back, it started raining again so I called it good.

You need to get yourself an easy up. Game changer for wintertime shooting in Oregon.

I actually have one. Unfortunately, it is about an hour away. Just don't have the room inside my trailer to store it so I leave it down there.
Have a pretty good spot to shoot. A gravelled straight road about 200 meters long that dead ends on an old landing. It is actually where my camp use to be, before equipment got moved down below. It was fire season when I was there, or I could have had a nice range to do prone shooting from my back porch.

Did some chrono testing with the 20 inch larue barrel today. Norma 77gr golden target vs IMI 77gr razorcore

I think the Larue likes the imi just a hair more at the higher MV and more consistent SD. 10 shots @ 100 yards. 2 inch circle target sticker

Forgot to grab the group pic for the norma but it was a little bigger

Another 300BO build. I went with a short barrel on this one to keep the subsonics subsonic. BCM upper and CH, PSA barrel and bolt, YHM gas block, handguard, and Resonator R2 suppressor. I may bump up from a 9" to 12" rail when the full size resonator gets out of ATF jail. That will likely be my go to home defense setup.

Yes. I might go AK next. If not I'm going to build an AR from ground up with premium upper and lower probably from DD.

Right? I started with, "Oh, let's build an AR, see what this is all about." That led to a second one. Then a couple 300BO pistols. Then...I lost them all when someone broke in to my car while I was inside the station paying for gas. Sad, really. Once I get over the grief, I might build another one. Or four.

Oh no!! I hope you don't promote all your guns on your vehicle with gun stickers like some idiots do.

No stickers, but it ranks right up there with the weirdos who take theirs on fishing trips and somehow lose them overboard. ;)
