I’m looking at possibly doing the Virginia portion of the TAT. The maps on the TAT website say the trail starts in Marlington WV and goes to Damascus VA covering 394 miles.

Has anyone done this? Is it worth it? Are there plenty of spots to camp a long the way? Any issues with finding gas stations? I’ve seen some short videos about this leg, but nothing that really answers my specific questions.

Also I’m sitting at stock height right now (which eventually will change, but just not yet). Would that be a problem with this section?

    TIA

    Brian
