The M12 ratchet and stubby 3/8 impact are absolutely awesome for compact tools. The M18 stuff definitely gets bulkier but does have more high powered options.

For compact impacts, m12 Fuel is a good bet. Probably the same with ratchets.

Fuel and regular tools can share batteries. I'd buy the fuel version whenever it's an option. Better power and runtime.

I’ve got some of each. For ratchets and impacts, you are fine with the m12 for most stuff until you need >250 ft lbs. I did all my suspension work with the right angle m12 impact.

most of my stuff I’ve got from Home Depot. They’ve had some killer deals with bundles or free batteries.

like @Thatbassguy said, I’d buy the fuel version of stuff

I also have a little from column A and a little from column B. I agree, buy Fuel when it's an option. Also, for M18 batteries, get the ones designated High Output XC.

The M18 with a high powered battery could launch a space shuttle into orbit, to be fair

@OldSchlPunk I saw a trailer today that truly must have been ordered by Satan himself for some poor driver headed your direction

Putting the truck away this evening got a shock-A nice new rumble! The tail pipe delete makes the truck sound nice backing in the garage at least! Surprised me...

Got some fabrication work done tonight on the Hammer Hanger /receiver tie together. Pictures soon...

Right? That was my first thought too! Never had I ever seen a 53 footer, with swing doors, and a gate. Not sure you could pay me enough to peddle whatever kind of unfortunate route that thing runs

Got an email this afternoon, about an hour after I scheduled my birthday holiday...the bumper shipped! Tracking doesn't show it in the system yet but it may be in my basement getting coated this weekend. Then, can use the day off to do the mounting.

That's what I'm here for, the mods and the gear.
Got the parts. Pretty sure I have the tools. Now all I need is my arm to heal.
