Hey everyone, I’ve been a lurker here for a long time but finally just landed myself a 08/03 Tacoma TRD!!!

it was a hand me down from a family member as you can see it has some damage on the driver side which is how I got it for $4,300.

The frame seems to be pretty good it was sprayed by the dealer at some point and taken back for an inspection by the previous owner but there has been no replacement. The truck came with two rear rotor backing plates lower Spring Mountain you bolts and a full set of Toyota bilsteins struts.

it’s got 167K on the clock and appears to have been taken well care of. I’m still not sure if I’m a fan of the high top bed cap I’d like to have a roof rack so I can carry long pieces of material so if there’s anyone in the local area that wants to trade a low cap wink wink.

first things first are to get it registered and put that new suspension on. I do want to take care of the damage on the side a new fender and door will look great and I’d like to work out that dent on the rear extended portion. Not sure what to do about that rocker panel???

Nice truck! Some money invested at a body shop might be well spent. I say this hypocritically as my rockers on my '05 need repair and will need attention soon. The cap may take some getting used to but is handy to keep your load, groceries or whatever out of the weather. And my truck had a frame replacement which is something that Chevrolet could learn from (my 2004 Avalanche failed inspection with a rusted unrepairable frame...at least in PA). Hershey area by the way. Lots of luck with your truck.

Man they must drive like my sister in law. They managed to damage every single panel on the drivers side.
