Appreciate Wesley from Mobile, AL for allowing me to tune his 2011 2nd Gen!

He chose the KDMAX Pro 9.01 +15 for MT.
Provided great acceleration and low end torque!

Miguel @Revokesss Came by today with his 2023 OR we flashed his truck to Pro-9.0 with Normal throttle. He came back from his test drive and he was completely blown away with all the improvements Pro-9.0 adds. " It's a completely different truck. I love it" It was nice meeting you Miguel as well as talking trucks and mods with you. Let us know how your enjoying the Pro-9.0

Gary from Slidell, LA dropped in today to try out KDMAX Pro 9.0. I first updated his 2020 from the original ECU version to the current one. Then flashed the Normal throttle and went for a test drive. He felt like he would like to try Sport and since he already drove down I said let check it out.

I was also curious to see if Gary could tell a difference in the Sport and Normal setting concerning smoothness. @Vlady had stated earlier that he found Sport to be smoother on tip in so I wanted to see if we could detect this.

On the Sport throttle test drive it did actually feel smoother and a little less finicky. But in the end Gary preferred the slightly more aggressive feel of normal.

Gary will report back his take on the tune and any noticeable MPG gains after driving a couple tanks.

    Appreciate your business Gary!

Ha! It was a custom request. It has lower shift points in 4-5 and the throttle is a mix between Normal and Lite.

Just got my tune done tonight from Jeff here in MN. Truck feels more connected now, it holds shifts, it actually goes into 6th gear on the highway now, just feels really nice. Best way I could describe it is how much truck felt going from stock suspension to fox shocks, every just felt better.

The reasons I went with a tune are mainly the shifting, I dont drive fast, I dont mash the gas pedal, I drive like a middle aged dad taking his kids to soccer.... cause thats what I am. But I also dont drive much, but when I do its usually longer trips up north where I need the truck to pick a gear and stay there.

I have a 3 hour road trip coming at the end of the month, so that will be my next test on the tune to see how it all goes. Most of it will be flat with minor hills, but at the end of the trip there will be some bigger steeper hills to climb.

Glad to hear it. Thanks for the feedback.
I drive a very hilly- up and down highway every weekend to go to our hunting camp- 100 miles. The tune handles it well. Still goes to 4th (3000-3500rpm) on the steep hills, but never 3rd. It recovers well by going back to 5th, then 6th after cresting the big hills. Plus I still get 18mpg on the 100 mile trip (going 70mph avg.)-- which is much better than it did stock.
    Keep us posted Erik.

Just got my tune today on my 2023 TRD OR. I went with the normal tune. It feels great, no more shifting back and forth up and down constantly. I met up with Scott in Roswell to get my tune, on my way out to Austin to pick up a casita RV we bought. My truck only had 300 miles on it and I was getting right at 18 MPG’s mostly all highway and taking it easy. After the tune it seems to have went up about 2 mpg but only time will tell. I’m hoping I should have a nice update tomorrow after I pick up the trailer and head back to New Mexico.

Got my tune done Saturday by Scott, G8R, in Jacksonville, FL.
Great guy. This is my second time having him tune my Tacoma.
First was a few years ago with my OR Auto Trans truck, noticeable difference, very happy.
This time was with my Sport Manual Trans truck, was uncertain about much difference but reading on here made me believe it would.
I was stuck between getting a Normal or Sport tune but reading indicated most MT go with the Sport Tune.
Scott verified most of his MT tunes have used Sport, so sport it was.
And all I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is a different truck and shifting is so much easier.
If you are in doubt that the MT tunes does anything, take my word for it, it wakes up the truck in a way I never dreamed about.
Thanks to all at KDMAX Tunes and to Scott.
Best investment you can do for your truck.

Looking to do my next Hattiesburg, MS tune event. Looking to get commitments for schedule date/time.

If enough interest is there I’m looking to tune this Saturday as I have one customer committed and another leaning that way.

Anything over 3 and I’ll offer a $25 off discount.

I flashed my truck a few hundred miles ago with the updated tune. I must say I am impressed. I liked the last tune but this one is way smoother, way less shifting from 6th to 5th and more power. Fuel mileage is slightly improved on winter fuel. My favorite tune so far.
    Thanks guys
