Hey guys, I was wondering if I anyone had any thoughts on this issue I have.
The car is 2022 TRD OR 6 Speed
I was offroading and got into a patch of soft dirt. The wheels were just slipping in 2wd so I switched 4hi. It didn't matter how slowly I slipped the clutch the car wouldn't move and eventually stall. Once it stalled, it would hard start and obviously be in limp mode with a low, rough idle. I turned the car off and waited a bit before starting it again. The car started normal and I just kept it in 2wd and just used some speed to get out of that section since I didn't want to risk being stuck.
Any ideas why it went into limp mode? I took the car for it's routine maintenance at the dealership and they said the usual "we can't replicate the issue" and also said there were no codes.
As far as I know I car shouldn't go into limp mode after stalling.

Welcome to the forum :hattip: 3 pedal job

I don't know it the carburetor term "flooding" is used any more, when you stall a manual you end up with raw fuel in the engine, it takes a few moments of rough running to get everything cleared out and back to normal.

Instead of slipping the clutch try using 4 low and first gear next time, you should be able to just about idle it out slow and smooth with good control and keep the clutch wear down.

You need to define your "limp mode". If you didn't have a malfunction indicator lamp on you're in no kind of limp mode. Poor running after stalling? Maybe.

You probably experienced troublesome intervention from the traction control system. Try the short or long press of the VSC button or 4LO next time.
