I bought and built these trucks to last me a lifetime but the itch for something different is overpowering my judgment. I'm listing both for sale as I'm eyeing a few TRD Pro's. I will probably keep whichever one doesn't sell first. If neither sell, I'm perfectly happy with that because they will last me a lifetime in their current condition. And no, I don't have an addiction to Silver, it was just luck of the drawl when I found them. No, I won't be selling the toppers alone.

    Thanks for looking

    - 2003 Tacoma TRD, Ext Cab 4wd
    3.4 Liter, Automatic, Rear Locker
127,500 miles (will go up some)

I purchased this truck from the original owner in June of 2018 with 98,000 miles, at which time most of this work was started. Truck spent most of its life as a daily driver in California and Hawaii (military) and was not being used as a daily driver in Maryland when I purchased it. Before agreeing to buy it, I paid the local Toyota Dealership to perform a full frame inspection (3 days after the replacement program ended) and was told it passed easily. I then had the frame cleaned and treated with Eastwood products to protect the frame as it was my daily driver. I drove this for two winters in Maryland prior to moving back to Florida and treated the frame with Fluid Film prior to winter driving. Body is clean minus a few minor dents. The interior is clean, the driver’s seat foam has been rebuilt. Matching topper.

    2018 at 98k miles:
OME 881 Coils with Bilstein 5100 shocks

Rear AAL to match front lift coils

New Aisin water pump and timing belt service (tensioner, pulley, thermostat etc)

Frame cleaning and protected with Eastwood encapsulate paint (has been updated along the way)

New Toyota lower ball joints (recall from Toyota)

    New fuel filter (OEM)

    New plugs and wires (OEM)

Transmission fluid checked and determined good (serviced by previous owner)

    2018 at 100k miles:
New Aisin AC compressor and dryer, serviced Freon system

    2020 at 109k miles:
    New OEM power steering pump

    New OEM rack and pinion

    New power steering fluid

    2021 at 117k miles:
Tundra front brake upgrade (OEM calipers, rotors and pads)

Transfer case fluid, differential fluids checked (verified to be good)

    2021 at 119k miles:
    Replaced valve cover gaskets

    New muffler and tailpipe

    2021 at 127k miles:
Replaced Bilstein 5100’s with new Old Man Emu (personal preference)

Original owner installed a nice amplified stereo system with a sub-woofer that is sitting behind driver’s seat, easily removable. I added a Pioneer Bluetooth CD player with hands free calling

Toyota oil filters and Castrol Synthetic at 5,000 intervals.

    $16,500

    $15,500

    - 2002 Toyota Tacoma TRD, Double Cab 4wd
    3.4 Liter, Automatic, Rear Locker
98,000 miles (will go up some)

I purchased this truck in January of 2019 with 79,000 miles and began most of the preservation work at this time. I purchased this truck from a Toyota Dealership in Pennsylvania where it spent its life prior to me buying it. I am the 3rd owner, the 2nd owner had it for about a year before trading it for a new Tacoma. I was told the original owner was an elderly gentleman that had it since new and didn’t drive it often. The frame was inspected by Toyota in approximately 2010 and passed the inspection, Toyota then sprayed their coating on it to preserve it. When I bought it, the coating looked bad but the dealership put it on the rack and stood behind the frame being solid. I then found a media blasting genius that was able to successfully remove the coating, fully inspect the frame and apply a 2 stage epoxy paint to protect the frame (I have photos to document this, I was truly amazed on how good of work he did). I never drove this truck in the winter after doing all of this to the frame. Body is clean minus one dent in the rear corner of the bed; interior is very clean. Driver’s seat foam has been rebuilt. Matching topper.

    2019 at 83k miles:
New water pump and timing belt service (OEM)

New tensioner, pulley, thermostat etc (OEM)

    New belts (OEM)

    New fan clutch (OEM)

    Transmission drain and fill

    New fuel filter (OEM)

New Old Man Emu 881 coils, Old Man Emu shocks and progressive AAL in rear

    New JBA Upper Control Arms

New Lower Control Arms and Ball Joints (OEM)

Full frame cleaning and painting (bed off)

    New muffler

Tundra brake upgrade (OEM pads and rotors, aftermarket calipers)

I added a Kenwood double din stereo with Bluetooth and hands free calling and all new Kenwood speakers (2019)

Toyota oil filters and Castrol Synthetic at 5,000 intervals

    $20,000

    $19,000

    SOLD!!!

Thank you Sir, that was my goal the whole time. Wish I could keep both and get a newer Tacoma or 4Runner, but one will have to go if I proceed with this ignorance.

Clean low mile examples are becoming very hard to come by. I just spent 6 months looking for one with no stories. Trust me its not worth the heartache of trying to weed through all the BS and shady sellers.

Sadly these popped up 2 days after I found my 03 and local to me of course. Thats the way it goes...

Nice examples. Get them while you can!

Sorry, as noted I'm not interested in parting them out.

I seen that and figured, just thought I’d ask since you dropped the prices recently. If you change your mind, I’ll be here

Double Cab is marked sold and I’m keeping the ExtCab since the other sold first.
