    I'd cut it down the middle, run them through the planer...
    ... then dress the edges on a jointer and glue 'em back together.
    Just to be sure they don't shift when you glue and clamp, use a biscuit joiner when reassembling the two halves.
    Then sand.

    Unless you have a big stationary sander to run 'em through... :notsure:


    [edit] Or do it the old fashioned way. Got a hand plane?

    If you have a stationary planer big enough to run a cutting block through, you must already have a pretty well equipped shop.

    I used a belt sander to get the rough and uneven part off which worked. I'll use the orbital or hand sand the rest.

    This shop is very well equipped. It belongs to a guy who has been a carpenter for 30+ years. :thumbsup:
