Glassdoor and Indeed are difficult to search through, and I'm looking for some sort of generic, from entry level/mindless to something of value, work from home job.

File review, benefits coordination, any sort of investigation or fact finding, I'm not sure what else is out there for work from home options at present, but I'm down.

I have a Bachelor's (US) and am nearly finished with my doctorate, have more than 20 years in government, public safety, and emergency management (to include volunteers). Not an IT/Computer/Office guy historically.

Where did you find a remote gig? Is there a better job board?

Lockheed Martin has a few jobs that are work from home. Wide selection of jobs and you can filter by ability to work from home (remotely). All are salaried positions that having basically any degree will help. I am curious why you're interested in entry level if you're almost done with your doctorate's?

    Thank You!

My scholarship only covers tuition and fees, I'm on my own for housing/bills/life. The doctorate is clinical, useless until it's conferred at the end of an internship. I'm working in the field, in a clinic, 1-3 afternoons a week until I'm complete.

Entry level seems it'd be a quick and easy on boarding and training (if needed) to have a job that's portable but doesn't require tools or my physical presence at specific locations (generally).

@Taco 422 - I have been in the Information Technology field since 1992, worked for employers in technology, banking/finance, health insurance. I have been fortunate enough to have had a couple jobs that were work from home/anywhere, including my current gig. I have been unemployed a few times over the last 15 years, for long periods. During my job searching efforts, I did a lot of things to identify companies that might have jobs I could qualify for, and I put them all into a spreadsheet, with various columns to track certain aspects of each company, such as Allow Remote Work?, Where is company HQ? Name and URL to the company jobs web site. What field is the company in.... I have something like 400+ companies on the list. If you are interested, I would be happy to email you a copy. I have shared it with others over the years, why reinvent the wheel? At least it's a big list of companies to look into.

My own experience with "job boards". At least for IT jobs, I would assume this applies to most any category of job, though. I have tried Indeed, LinkedIn, Monster, Dice....

I have found that in most cases, you find a job that looks promising, you go to the actual web site of the company that the position is with, and find out that either 1) Dice/Monster/GlassDoor/... said the job was just created days ago, but Company XYZ shows is has actually been posted for months; or 2) You go to the actual company web site and find the position was filled and is no longer actually open. However, I have found that the job board sites can show you companies you may never have heard of, or didn't even think about, so they do have some value.

    Yes, please. DM Sent.

I've found the same with the job boards, positions are either filled or forgotten. The two positions I've reached out to via GlassDoor have taken 2-3 months to get back to me, and repeated "cold" calls to their HR/hiring folks; it's a drain.
