Soft topper (Velcro or no Velcro on tailgate?)

    I did the same. Small slit in the velcro and slid in these magnets. Around 20 of them will fit end to end across the entire length. Figure out the poles / orientation of the magnets before inserting them so they stay lined up. They do tend to move over time, and need to be realigned every few months. I may stitch them in some time to prevent the movement, but not really a big deal.

    No velcro on the front or the back. Never had any issues.

    I’ve had my topper for at least a year now. I had a 1.5 inch magnetic strip attached to Velcro holding rear flap of the topper. Been through all conditions and no problems. Until I started the magnetic strip was wearing on the paint so I stopped using it. Here I am now, I installed a Prinsu cab rack a couple weeks ago and now at highway speeds I’m noticing more flapping of the rear topper window. Anybody have this experience?

    im going to get some 3m clear repair tape and go back to the magnetic strip.

    I guess I’m the only one that used the Velcro since 2017. No issues so far. Held up great to SoCal heat
