    Hello,

I’ve done a few remote start installs on Toyota’s before. What I am seeing right now is that the Tacoma G key remote start is currently unavailable on most platforms. Does anyone know if G key wiring is the same for all Toyota’s or are the 100% vehicle specific? As in I can find G Key applications for 2014 Camry’s and am wondering if the connections would be the same. The application I am working on is a 2015 Tacoma.
    Thank you!

No I did not. I ended up going with a kit from 12 volt solutions for the G key.

I can tell you that the wiring FROM the Transponder Key ECU to the Body ECU is different.
The wiring from the TK ECU goes into different pin locations. Specifically the IMO and IMI terminals.

Supposedly the transponder key ECU is different as well.
Which means, you likely need all new keys if you plan to change one for the other.
