Last time I rotated my wheels and noticed the drivers side bearing felt a little rough and chose to ignore it for a little while longer even though I knew the bearing was going. That was 5000mi ago. Fast forward to 3 weeks ago I start getting obvious symptoms of a bad wheel bearing and got progressively worse. Road noise, feedback through floor area, and pulsation during braking.
I don't care for aftermarket parts when it comes to engine and drivetrain components. OEM always fits and lasts longer.
I used a 20 Ton H frame floor press to mate the hub and bearing. The process overall was easy. Lots of resources on here and some great videos on the Tube. Hardest part was seating the inner seal. Truck now feels so smooth!

Struts. Not sure what is wrong? Measured 3 times before drilling. Hood bracket 16 1/4” to hood mount. Fender mount 7 1/4” to fender bolt. Not sure if wrong pistons were shipped.

Can't really tell by your pics...how are the struts oriented on the mounts? Are they reversed? Only thing that comes to mind if the brackets are correctly mounted.

maybe easy for you, I'm not a welder, though I could run a band saw pretty well, so a sharpie and some pipe I could cut up to my heart's content, but not good at putting them back together.

ah ha ha, same my Tacoma often gets Idemitsu 5w30 synthetic, was a Subaru tech for a while and likely still have 50 or go gallons of full synthetic oil, and that injection kit works great!

Pistons up to hood. When I lower the hood pistons are completely together.

Maybe the wrong struts came in the package then. Or you received the wrong kit as a whole, only thing I would think it could be.

Toyota could'a made them a wee bit more accessible. But, whatever. They in. We'll see tonite. See what I did there, see what I did there again  IMG_20230114_121622835_HDR.jpg IMG_20230114_121215049.jpg

Well not last night but in the last week.
That is a redrock HD rood rack, once i got the front fairing adjusted right it's been awesome, haven't installed anything up top yet because I've had no reason to, and the box i was going to use looks like someone tried to cut the lock off at some point so that is damaged. and think I'm going to cut my weather stripping and reinstall.
and the AJT key fob because it looked cool. and my last remote somehow has a massive burn on the battery board i assume from my 4yo son who spilled water in my keys. and they were soaked.

Are these redline tuning? Instructions say BOTTOM of bracket goes at the 16 1/4 mark, not top. Unless I’m interpreting your second photo wrong

Yeah I’m saying your photo has you measuring out 16.25” from what I assumed to be the end of the hood bracket to the top end of your top bracket. What I’m saying is it should be 16.25 to the bottom side of your top bracket.

You can even seen in this photo that the bracket should overlap the hood dimple. Yours stops well before it.
