Someone in the forums said not to use the brass fittings for whatever reason. Maybe clogging? Your experience shows, at least your use case, there is no issue using the fittings and all drains well even with road grime from salting.

Search my profile for the links to the messages with the fittings I used. They are 90 degree elbow since i have a bedmat.

Couple small projects completed today. Pop & Lock tailgate mechanism (forgot to take a picture with tailgate cover off), Seat Jackers for the Drivers Seat and Z-Precision large cup holder. Not sure why the tail gate lock is an add on this day and age.1D750CA1-ED76-4E81-902E-3E42A58052BE.jpg 5B0B71B5-CF98-4732-9E97-DEFA23F2B902.jpg 49175958-5A51-4CC3-9CAB-DDB8D6C11D1B.jpg

AF and in NWFL...Hurlburt or Eglin I take it? I was stationed there for a bit, really enjoyed my time there on Eglin range poking around with my 4Runner.

Awesome, Thanks for your time of service to the country! I'm retiring at the end of this year from the AF also. When I was there in 2005, you could get a range pass to go out on Eglin's Range and drive the roads out there and get some off pavement time. There wasn't much that was too challenging but enough to get stuck.

    Yes
Pedestrian hit me at full sprint while I was approaching a red light to stop behind stopped traffic. He came from in between stopped cars and gave me no time at all to react. He admitted fault to me and responding law enforcement. He was released from the scene and thankfully was not injured.

Pedestrians need to slow down; everyone is in such a hurry these days. They could hurt an innocent vehicle!

    Congrats on USAF Retirement!

    You're what's called a "Baby Retiree", LOL!

At least, that's what I was called back in 2011 when I retired.

I lived in JAX for a time working at Cecil Field--The Boeing Company's QF-16 program.

My brother-in-law lives in Pensacola; lots of fun places to visit like PCB.

Enjoy your retirement, your new truck and your new environment!

LED interior, license plate, and fog lights. More to come.
Mounted a set of studded snows on some steelies Friday night and put them on Saturday morning. Hopefully we get a decent storm so I can test them out. I miss the look of the aftermarket wheels and bigger tires but it should be a beast in the snow and ice.

Gave Blanco Taco a quick bath. She got some nice upgrades this week. New wheels, new head unit, new rear view mirror w/homelink and a new console molle panel. I think I’m done for a little bit while my wallet recovers!

Head unit is a nice fit. Did you get a idatalink one? That’s the struggle I am having? How often do we really change those settings on what the remote buttons do when we hit the button to unlock
