Ok I am new to the forum, I have a 2023 Tacoma Limited 4x4 Long bed, in wind chill pearl.
Thinking of putting a set of all-terrains on, possibly Cooper Rugged Trek or K02s. I am not going to lift it now. Any thoughts?

Welcome to TW! I’m not familiar with the Coopers, but have read good things about them. The K02’s are a solid choice.

1 thing I will say is that, with all terrains tires and K02's your truck will be much noisier.
I put a set of Toyo tires open country R/T on my Sport and it is much noisier than stock, city and highway.
If you don't mind the noise then go for it. If it was me, I'd keep it as quiet as possible especially on the Limited trim.

Thank you. Yea I agree seems like KO2s are the best choice. Not sure if it is going to look good with no-lift though.

You maybe right just keep the regular Michelins on for now. They ride amazing. This Tacoma is my first mid-size truck. Always had a full size truck.

Welcome to the site. Sorry some people forget that once they were new on here and probably asked some repetitive questions.

Definitely check out the wheels and tires subforum. Lots of good information and pictures to help out in your decision.

The Limited comes with 18"x7.5" rims (with 30 mm offset), so your choices are somewhat reduced, but the BFG AT K02 comes in a LT255/70R18 which could be a real sweet spot. 32.1" OD, so just a smidgen bigger OD but narrower than the 265/65/18 that everyone knows will work. Load Range "D" so a bit softer than the "E" series.

This link is helpful, but doesn't address the skinnier options unless you scroll endlessly... https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/largest-tacoma-tire-sizes-on-stock-suspension.67550/

Thanks definitely like the KO2s. Do you think the size you recommended will rub? Or good to go?

I just put the Rugged Treks on my SR5 a few weeks ago. Definitely a bit noisier than the stockers but what little I got to use them in snow they were very good. Seem good in the wet too. Also, they offer several in 18" that are SL (standard LOAD) and XL (extra load) so you won't have to go with an E or D range LT tire. Plus they're probably a bit cheaper than the BFG.

except the fact that the rugged treks are a new tire that has barely been discussed....

Running KO2s right now, in 6 ply (C-load). Have 35,xxx miles on them, and they still have some tread, but not a ton. I'm looking at the Toyo Open Country a/t 3, the Open Country R/T Trail and the Rugged Trek. Leaning toward the A/T 3, but with the trips planned this year, a more aggressive tire might be a better option.

Don't want to go 10 ply, because I'm old and grumpy, and don't want it to ride like a potato wagon. Still mulling that over.........
