Hey all, I have 265/60R20 BFG KO2 tires on a 2018 4Runner limited and the tires are rubbing on the front plastic. I would like to avoid cutting the plastic if possible and I’m looking for size recommendations for a front only levelling spacer kit. The truck is currently sitting 34 5/8” in the front and 36 1/2” in the rear. I took the measurements from the ground to the top of the wheel well. I’m thinking I probably wouldn’t want to go higher than a 1” but I don’t know if that will clear the tires. Has anyone already had this issue and dealt with it? If it was up to me, I would put a proper front and rear lift, however, this is my parents ride and they are in their 70’s and not wanting a truck that is hard to get into. Thanks in advance for your help. Cheers

It's easier just to move the plastic forward.

Unbolt the plastic from under the bumper. Pull it forward, use the existing hardware as self tappers and secure the trim.

Lift's just make it rub on a different spot on the plastic.

Limited's have a very specific suspension (xreas) that is linked front to rear and is detrimental to add any spacers. They are the most expensive shocks Toyota sells lol.

Thanks for the info. I’m going to pull it apart today and see what I can pull forward or trim slightly. I did something similar to my Tacoma. Appreciate the response. Cheers

I was able to re-locate a mounting hole on a small piece of trim. Once reattached, it pulled the inner plastic wheel well forward enough to clear the tires. It’s not much but I now have 5/8” clearance between the tire and wheel well. Thanks for the recommendation.
