    I am liking this arrangement for carrying a paramotor for short/mid distances in reasonable conditions... anything to worry about?

    It seems like a good idea to keep the machine as high out of the dust gradient as possible.

    Not even close! Unless I break down the hoop, which I would do whenever weather, security, distance, etc. demands. But for short jaunts, it's really nice to leave it all assembled.

    I’m going to say probably okay. Doesn’t seem like it would be very heavy and the stuff sticking up doesn’t look like it have a lot of wind resistance.

    45-60 lbs depending on fuel... aerodynamic design, natch - but that's a good point, to keep an eye on velocity.
