I have the stock SR5 silver alloy wheels.

Got a pretty sizeable stone chip or something on one of the wheels. Was wondering if anyone ever tried to touch up their wheels? Or should I just let it go because its a truck?

I thought some Silver Sky Metallic Toyota touch up paint might work. I'm just trying to hide it a little. Doesn't need to be perfect.

I was wondering the same thing. Did you try touching up?

Totally did. I no longer own the truck so not pictures, but the paint correction turned out perfect. I believe I used silver sky metallic. Primered with the Toyota primer pen. It held up without issues.

Thank you for the response. Were you able to find the silver sky metallic paint in a spray can?

Absolutely could, but I went for the Toyota paint pens. Found them on Amazon cheap and only had 2-3 chips I needed to fix.

I know this is an old thread but since there are new replies I didn't want to horn in so created this thread. I "touched up" mine last weekend.

Don't short cut it and walk out to the truck with a can of paint or you'll get what's in my "before" pics. Be ready for a bit of work that may cost you a weekend, like it did me.
