On to the tire/wheel weight , I just swapped my wheels to some FN that are 6lbs per less over my stock sr wheels and 100% notice a difference. Especially on takeoff and highway. I have 265/75/16's cooper at3 4's which were 10lbs heavier than the stock firestones now with the lighter wheels i am only 4lbs heavier per corner than stock with bigger all terrains a nice balance. I was curious if i would feel the difference in weight and its noticeable

New wheels and tires, and it already has a 3/2 spacer lift, which I hope to replace eventually.
I did the same, which model did you get? I got the counter steer ones. The only tires I could grab were the Nitto Terra Grapplers in 265/70r17 which I believe are 45lbs each.

I went with the 2020 trd replicas 16” I weighed all the wheels the sr’s were 23.6-.7 and the FN’s were 17.4-.5 a 6lb difference is felt for sure especially on the 2.7 I doubt you would feel as much on the 3.5. Top are the new FN wheels the bottom is the factory sr wheels the truck came with. The cooper 265/75/16 AT’S are 41lbs so 58.5lbs per corner now with the bigger AT’S and FN wheels over 54.5 lbs with the stock wheels and 245/75/16 firestones all seasons

Looks great man, you ever think about some white letter tires? Might look pretty good.

Those wheels are nice and light also, man you have my brain thinking….

My 17” FJ steelies are heavy!!! Argh!!! But look great, lol… Can’t have it all can we!

I prefer the steelie look honestly these new wheels are a little “flashy” for my usual taste but I think they look good. When I’m behind the wheel of the truck I can’t see what my wheels look like but I can sure feel them so a lighter weight wheel was the priority. Wish there was a low weight aluminum “steelie”

Well there are Nomad and Fifteen52
with kind of lookalike to older steel designs.

Weight is close to a factory wheel though.

    I love the Nomad,

Swapped my Sr steelies for TRD flow forged clones from FSW (lost 12 lbs per corner there) and added Nokian Outpost AT 265/75r16 116T (43lbs. each, picked up 12 lbs over stock 245s) corner wheel weights are an exact match to stock steelies and 245s (about 63lbs), but heavier tires (weight farther from center) I did notice slight difference when accelerating from a stop and lost about 1mpg. Added Bilstein 5100s (all 4 corners) 4th notch - 1.5inch lift/level in the front, rear stock height. The ride with bigger tires is now night and day smoother and more planted than stock Hitachi shocks.

Those 501’s are sharp but 25lbs if they were around 20 I would have jumped on them. I live in NC too Charlotte area and you know it’s a hilly state my truck thanks me by shedding a few lbs per corner plus after selling the old sr wheels I only have about 400 in the swap after mounting.

Looks great I looked at those as well a little nicer looking but I think they were 20.5lbs a wheel which is why I went with the 2020 reps. You have a 2.7? I have icon stage 2 leaf pack and 5125s in the rear I wanted to pick the front up with 5100s was thinking notch 2 still want a rake. Can you take a measurement from center of wheel to fender in the front. You don’t see a lot of info on 5100s on the 2.7

Yep FSW clones are 20.5lbs. 2020 reps look great on your rig. yes, 2023 2.7. I think the wifey and I measured correctly, at 22.5inch (parked on driveway with slight incline). I still have about a 1/4 inch rake in the rear, the 265s also gave about another .5inch all around above the 245s.

Has anyone here had to deal with a potential head gasket replacement on the 2.7l?

Little background; about a month ago noticed the coolant in the reservoir was on the low mark, added some. Didnt think anything of it because 219,000 miles on a 2011. Did the oil change today and noticed coolant corrosion around the backside of thermostat house. From under the truck there is what appears to be oil seepage build up around the block and the head on the passenger side, none on the driver's, fresh on top of a little bit of old. Oil level was in between the two divots on the dipstick. No water in the oil during change.

I like the trail wheels they look great. Appreciate taking the measurements, the rear I’m at 24 1/4 with the icon leafs and 5125 bilsteins and 21 1/8 in the front all stock. I am on 265/75s as well and have fender flares which I’m sure changes the measurement a hair. That would make sense you said you did the 4th notch? so pretty close to that 1.5 lift. I always saw people say on the 2.7 add about 1/2” to 5100s height measurements but it looks pretty close to advertised

Might be a sliiight difference if I was on 'flat ground'. I've that as well, "the 2.7 is lighter.." According to my measurements it's pretty lined up with Billsteins info/numbers! From what I've seen/read is that you lose about .5inch of rake per 200lbs in the bed. If you go 4th notch you'll still have rake with 300ish lbs. in back.

Does anyone have photos of 885 OME coils on Bilstein 5100's? I'm going to be ordering coils and UCA's very soon. Right now I'm on stock coils set at the 3rd notch getting 21 3/8's even in the front. This is with a BAMF hybrid bumper.
