    ...and so it begins...

Round about 10 o'clock I was nodding, spying an opportunity I quickly brushed my teeth and got in bed.
Sleep came (unusually) quickly and was filled with bizarre dreams as has become common as of late.
Dreams notwithstanding I slept (again unusually) soundly - until I popped awake at 1:37...

However, following my long ago teaching of "...if you can't say anything nice..."
Good early Wednesday morning Wrenchmen, I sincerely hope you won't be reading this until well after your alarm goes off. :hattip:

Singer-songwriter, musician & painter Bobby Goldsboro (1941) turns 82 today, he got his start in Roy Orbison's backing band and had a string of country & pops hits in the 60's & 70's.

Most have probably heard Garth Brooks 1993 #1 song "That Summer", 20 years prior in 1973 BG released a song with a very similar theme called "Summer (The first time)" that was suggestive enough to cause some controversy, times were much different back them.
Garth was 11 when this song was popular, worth a listen if you have a few minutes.

Howdy folks. Stopping by with a funny incident from this morning. Mechanic came to get a cylinder for a project, goes to lift it out of the box and the clevis snaps right off. Grabs another box, happens again! Clearly the clevis was way over tightened, resulting in a fracture that gave up as soon as it was side loaded just from being picked up. Couldn't believe it didn't even make it out of the box though!

    A few.
Fair enough. I spent about 6 months in western PA and Mexican food was not really around (Taco Bell isn’t Mexican food). As soon as I got home I went out for Carne Asada and Chili Toreados. I could happily live on Mexican food.
