    Hi,

I recently purchased a 2018 Tacoma and it's been great! Only one small thing bugs me; the temperature control to adjust the cabin is in celsius not farenheit. I am not talking about the thermometer for the outside temperature that's on the dash. The truck was manufactured/assembled in Canada. I have gone through every single setting options and I am unable to find a way to change it from C to F. Does anyone have an idea on how to change it over?

    Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. As I recall from previous posts it is not a simple setting. I believe that you need to swap out the electronics that control your HVAC.

    Hi, thank you!

So you're saying that I'd need to pull out the climate control panel and swap it out for an American one? Yikes. More work then I expected.

It’s actually even more complicated than that. You’d have to switch an entire computer out. More work than it’s worth.

A lot simpler to just learn the conversion or treat it like an older car and just turn the dial up when you’re cold and down when you’re hot.

I don't want to even imagine. Thanks!

I can convert C to F; I am just a stickler for some minute details.

Think entirely ripping out an interior and endless issues with trying to get computers to behave together lol.
