So my truck has started making a chirping noise when I'm accelerating from a stop and sometimes when I'm driving a constant speed if I am giving it gas it will make the same noise for just a second if I hit a bump in the road or something. It's coming from underneath the truck somewhere in the middle to rear of the truck and it definitely rotational whatever it is because the chirping gets faster the faster I'm going til about 30mph then it stops. It literally sounds like crickets chirping that chirp faster the faster you go. It only happens when I am giving it gas if I'm coasting it doesn't make the noise! I greased the u joints on the driveshaft and checked to see if there was any play in them and they seem fine to me. I wonder if maybe the carrier bearing is going bad, the truck has 170k miles on it! Just wondering if anybody here has any ideas as to what could maybe be causing the noise. I've googled and googled and can't really find anything that sounds the same.

Sounds like a U-joint to me.
Just because you don’t feel any play doesn’t mean they aren’t worn.
You might even have a few needles stuck.

It could also be the carrier.
But they tend to cause a “vibration” first.
I they also use a ball bearing. And those don’t typically chirp.

Sonds luike a U-Joint to me too. I replaced one at about 170,000 miles as well. It wouldn't hurt to check with Toyota. On some models they were replacing them under warranty up to 200,000 miles.

Check your driveshaft carrier bearing. Spray it down with wd40 and see if it goes away. If yes then replace
