Reported for missuse of Taco. Literally the best vehicles on the road in the snow and you're going to keep yours in the garage hidden away? For shame

It didn't start snowing until a couple hours ago... Current conditions in Washburn WI: Looks like about 3+ inches and blowing snowing... There was nothing on the car, parking lot or saw horses when I got here at 7:30.

Hmmm, definitely one of the best. But, a full time 4wd 4runner is definitely better. ;) And, any 4wd 4Runner is going to be as good, maybe even better just due to being more awesome.:crapstorm:

Toyota wasted the full time 4wd system on the limited trim.

Slap that into an SR5 Taco and we'll talk..... :mudding:

I think your biased... I have owned a 4Runner and I am not convinced. I think the Fiat 600 I had back in 1984 during my first stay in Finland might be the best snow car ever. Oh, wait... not the Fiat, the SAAB 900-that was the best one ever.

I had it on an '03 SR5 V8 4Runner. It was glorious in the snow.

But, the current Limited 4Runner is no less of a 4×4 than a Taco. Underneath the low hanging rocker panels and bumper is the same Landcruiser Prado platform every 4Runner is built on. :D

I never said it was the best. I just said it was better than a Taco.

    Nope!

Full time 4wd is just better for snow. Otherwise, I'd say the Taco and 4R should be very similar.

For a brief moment when I was putting in the crawl box I thought about swapping to a full time transfer case.
