What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Turns out the relatively easy project of replacing the gear oil in the differentials and transfer case becomes waaaay more of a pain with a skid trilogy. Anyways, that's done.

 

That's rough hopefully you can get it all fixed at some point. I was definitely worried about drilling into my shell but it's easy like you said! I bought mine used with a broken window and some cracks/dings in the fiberglass. I fixed the window with plexiglass but still have to fix the cracks at some point.

 

Just finished up cutting my fenders to fit them 35s... Question for everyone, what fender trim is everyone using? Hit me with a link i need some.

 

Looks good. I cut 1” out of mine and used a cheap trim that fell off lol

A little thick, but it should work better than the smaller stuff.

 

Reused my old one after trimming it. Cut scores in my inner fenders so I could bend the tabs inwards

Just put my RTT up for sale. Also bed drawers in the Midwest classified thread.

 

Finally got around to installing the BAMF reinforcement brackets. Had to use a grinder on them and the US Offroad bumper to get everything to fit and line up nicely.

Do you mean the cross brace?

 

well the brace, and the drop mounts for the leafs

 

Were you able to get the longitudinal through bolt in? I just barely landed mine on the winch mount and had the notch the bottom edge of the USO bumper to slip a wrench/nut up in there. All in all, I'm happy I did as the 12000lb winch has some muscle.
