Howdy! So Toyota has sucked me back into the fold. I have owned a couple of Toyotas over the years... The first was an 87 4runner with a 22re turbo. Next was a 2002 TRD DC. I was a Jeep guy for a bit but wanted to get back into overlanding (did it via motorcycle back in the mid 2000's) and really like the extra capacity a truck affords. Thus, now I am the proud owner of a new to me 2020 DCSB TRD OR Tacoma in VooDoo Blue. Plan is to get it all set up for overlanding with an Alu-Cab canopy camper and all the goodies eventually. I have been lurking on here for a few months so I figured it was probably time to jump in and say hello.

The 87 4 runner was a lot of fun. My one wish was that it was a stick instead of the Auto.. I owned it in the late 90's early 2000's and it had been heavily used by previous owners so it was just my "fun truck" to tinker on and take for quick off road trips / rides. Here is a pic with my favorite co pilot back in the day.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Still looking around and making plans on what to do to the truck first. As soon as I do anything interesting (beyond just removing step bars) I guess is when I should start a build thread. Hope to lean a lot and possibly help others if I can along the way.
