I almost bought a slug barrel for my 870 years ago, but it was almost as much as i paid for the shotgun. So i never did. You can run slugs through just choke tube has to be open enough for the slug to get through

Re sound insulation, I did the pool noodle thing last summer, didn't really notice any difference, but my hearing ain't the greatest either. I'll have to take a look at it to see if it's gathering crud.

I think architects and engineers add that type of detail just to test the people building the thing… got a couple that I’ve found on the current plan set I’m estimating.

 

For the few times I've had to hunt with a shotgun, rifled slugs and buckshot has been good enough.

Damn, it was windy yesterday, but that's a horrible way to end a meal or start one.

Two things.

1) After getting home from work, bringing the kid to their class, bringing them home, going for a haircut then finally sitting down to eat at 8:30, I wasn't really feeling starting on the assembly.

2) I have a weight machine similar to that one (the lat station is in the same place as the bench instead of the flys, but still). There's a reason I sit on the seat backwards when I do the pull-ups!

Bonus third thing: I told my wife that I'd have it put together for her to use tomorrow morning so now I HAVE to get it done tonight. Don't need any (more) of that wife's-mad-at-you bad juju.

 

Department tells us that they're working with a company on a project and needs AutoCAD plans.

I send them AutoCAD plans.

The email back that they can't open the files I sent.

Yeah, because you don't have AutoCAD...

I sent them a set of pdfs.
